Beware of these guys.They are not genuine. All they are after is their commission.Earlier this year I was interested in a Shetland 27i and paid the deposit they asked me for. When I later discovered a serious fault with the boat, something they must have known about, and decided not to go ahead with the purchase they refused to reimburse the deposit and blamed it on me. I needed legal assistance to recover my deposit which was later repaid to me in full. I was left with a legal bill which I cannot recover. The manager was arrogant, rude and not cooperative. Whatever you do, buying or selling, this is not the place to go to.I have been a boater for 24 years and only met genuinely nice people so far. The experience with these rogue traders from TBS took a huge chunk out of the enjoyable side of boating and made me wonder if I should continue with boating.

I thoroughly recommend Dominic and his team at TBS Boats. The whole process of part-exchanging our boat and taking ownership of the new one was very smooth, efficient and professional. We were always dealt with warmly and considerately. TBS Boats made sure we had a full handover and that our new boat was in absolute perfect condition. It was a very positive experience for us, we recommend them very highly.
Well what can I say , purchased a boat which broke down at the first lock outside bray marina !! Called the guys who (kindly) sent someone out with s new battery , we were then told that the boat had broken down because the boat had been running on the leisure battery !!!! We were then given a bill for said battery !!! Is the problem really ours or theirs ???? I have to admit we have not paid for it yet but never said I wouldn't although I do think boats should at least run when purchased , so today TBS boats have been on to my boat with out permission to take the battery , so be warned very childish and not very nice people to deal with , have to say dealings with the guys at penton hook TBS boats completely different lovely guys so if you are spending money on a boat avoid bray . .
My first experience in buying a boat was through these guys and I have to say the service throughout was fantastic. Always professional, honest and made the whole process very smooth. Highly recommend.
