The place is nothing amazing, for the price you pay for it. We couldnt sleep at all because really loud music playing until really late. Awful, paying lots of money for a room and not be able to sleep .

Could do with a modernization of the rooms. Views from this hotel are very poor. Comfortable beds though.

Not impressed at all. It was like a budget hotel/hostel. You have to show ID at check in. Rooms are extremely basic and overpriced. Reception staff are not pleasant. You have to pay for parking out the back of the hotel. Wouldn't return

Booked this first, then read the reviews, was a little nervous about it. But once I arrived all the reviews were wrong, nothing like described. Our room was spotless. When we first checked in, went up to the room fired our stuff in and went back down for some food. The main kitchen was getting done up, so we were told theres only a small option, which when we read the menu was fine, I got the bacon and cabbage which was lovely. The bar staff were friendly too. There was a smell of paint in the hallways but nothing in the room which is fine, as stated before it was being done up. Only two faults with the place is that elevator light a little too bright in the morning with a hangover and the shower. The shower states let the water run for a few minutes before, didn't think I'd nearly have to preheat the shower the night before. As far as the hotel went the stay was enjoyable, and nothing wrong with it compared to reviews.P.S. There is a carpark around the back, and its 5 extra night for anyone wondering.

The hotel is nice, bar is great and the restaurant has fantastic food. The pool and leisure facilities are nice. The hotel is old but it is fully renovated as such the corridors are thin, and it is not exactly wheelchair or buggy friendly outside the lifts and the floor I was staying you had 3 steps to get to your room, not great when you are carrying bags and a buggy. Also the car park is limited and you do have to pay for it, it only takes cash also no cards, which I could not believe, this is the only hotel I have stayed in that you had to pay for parking. On a positive note it's a short walk to the beach which is great.
