Wow, what a gastro pub. There were 3 of us for a business lunch and all ordered steaks. Cooked well and can thoroughly recommend the red cabbage and carrots as sides. You expect to pay a little extra in Bray for the choice of top drawer eateries.

The Crown at Bray is a local pub where you get good food and drink. The venues are cozy and the place is just the way a pub should be: Traditional, rustic interior, good beer and nice atmosphere. It is possible to eat.The place is a nice place to be before a visit to one of the better restaurants in Bray.

Cant deny the quality of the food, it was very nice. Im also already happy to pay a lot for good food, but the prices here are obscene! 23 for a very measly portion of roast beef and trimmings is a joke! Add to that the unbelievably slow service at the bar and the fact that they automatically charge 12.5% service even though its not table service! If you want a nice pub, in a great setting, with fantastic food, at more reasonable prices, there are so many better places than this! Check out The White Oak up the toad in Cookham for starters.
